Unintentional slopp joe
I wanted to make hamburgers with broccoli mixed in for the boys since they have been fussy about eating their veggies. Well I also had some avocado I wanted to put on top but I figured they wouldn’t eat that alone so I throught that in with the broccoli as well. The sad news is I don’t have a food process or blades designed just to chop the stuff up. The good news is it was just chuncky enough to not be a watery mess the bad news is I didn’t have enough hamberger meat. Good news is it made sloppy joes the boys loved and nathan (4) ate seconds and tony (1) ate half of a regular size hamberger, with lettuce and tomatoe and american cheese. I added lemon pepper, chili powder, and garlic pepper. Don’t think the garlic pepper and the lemon peper made it too peppery the garlic out weighs the pepper and the pepper out weighs the lemon so it was all very even. I made the rest into a make shift meat loaf cause I didn’t want to let it sit in the fridge. Otherwise I might forget to cook it since it wasn’t what I wanted exactly, and with me I am picky that way no matter how good my culinary mistakes/successes.
